This poster represents the graphic outcome of a long research process and analysis of the signage of the city of Milan.
The main steps are the following: identification of the different types of signage in the city, in-depth analysis of the cultural signage through historical and quantitative analyses, critical approaches to the main issues and the identification of potential guidelines.
This project is part of a broader analysis of Milan’s identity, carried out through macro areas: institutional framework, urban fabric, signage, transportation and large scale events.
